The Bob and Denise Marlatt Family Some of our most joyful moments have been the 7 different times we have taken one of our children through the temple. We have been so greatly blessed as a family. 1. Rich, at the Spokane Temple 2002 to serve a mission to the Dominican Republic; 2. Cheryl at the Seattle Temple July 2004, to serve a mission to Salt Lake City Temple Square; 3. Cheryl and Josh at the Portland Temple Sept 9th, 2006 as they were married & sealed; 4. Rich & Allisha Nov 9th, 2007 at the Seattle Temple as they were sealed; 5. Chris the same day at the Seattle Temple to serve a mission to Birmingham England and Independence Missouri Nov 9th, 2007; 6. June 13th, 2008 at the Portland Temple as Brian & Denise were sealed. 7. July 10th, 2010 at the Portland Temple as Chris & Christie were married and sealed for time and all eternity. There are no better moments then these! But you can come close when you consider the wonderful grandkids, and they can seem to top everything else. We now have 6 grandchildren, 2 granddaughters and 4 grandsons.
Bob and I enjoy living in Olympia, WA and spending time with family. What better life can a person ask for.
Please enjoy and leave comments if you wish on our posts. Thank you
About Denise
Grandma Marlatt
We call Olympia home as we have lived her now for 25 years. I love the mild climate and beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
My goal this coming year is to get better at photography and family history.
Family means a lot to both Bob and I and we love spending time with them.
I also love serving the scouters of Pacific Harbors Council, and the Capital Area District, and of course the Young Men in our Eld Inlet Ward.
I got the opportunity in 2010 to serve as the Council Wood Badge Course Director, and what a joy it was. I have made so many wonderful new friends and leaders. Wood Badge is a great mountain-top experience and if you ever get the opportunity to go, jump on it quick, as you will never regret it and you will be amazed at all the wonderful things you learn. It's not just for scouters and about scouting, you learn many leadership skills that will change your life forever.
About Bob
Grandpa Marlatt
Bob enjoys ANYTHING outdoors. He especially loves Kayaking and Sailing. He has successfully built his own kayak and paddle. He is always on the lookout for someone to join him on a fun "outdoor adventure".
He is the best Grandpa ever. We all enjoy watching how silly he can become when he has a grandchild in his arms. He really enjoys the time he has to spend with the little ones. We have watched him turn into a true softy.
Bob finally is through with the traveling, he recently changed jobs and is now in town 100% of the time. It is so nice to have him home every night.
